AI shouldn't erase artists.

Get credit for what you create.

Our Mission

The internet made it hard for artists to protect their work. AI has made it nearly impossible. Creative work is being scraped, copied, and consumed at unprecedented scale, with no record of who made what. The people behind creative work are disappearing from it entirely.

Credit is what connects a creator to their work. Without it, there is no discovery, no compensation, no reason to share anything at all. Our mission is to ensure every piece of human-made work carries a mark that cannot be removed, ignored, or erased.

We built Monolith to ensure that you get credit for what you create. Because, when credit is certain and permanent, human creativity becomes the most powerful and valuable force on the internet.

FAQ

Monolith is a platform that lets creators attach a permanent, verifiable mark to their work. It ensures that no matter where your work ends up on the internet, your authorship is always traceable.

A Mark is your permanent authorship claim on a piece of work. It contains your identity, the date of creation, and a content fingerprint that ties you to your work forever.

An Artifact is the digital file you upload — your image, design, photograph, or other creative work. Once marked, it becomes a permanent artifact with provenance that can always be traced back to you.

A content fingerprint is a unique digital signature derived from your work. It allows your work to be identified even if it's been cropped, resized, or slightly modified.

Upload your work, add your mark, and Monolith creates a permanent record linking you to your creation. We generate a content fingerprint and embed provenance metadata so your authorship is always verifiable.

Simply create an account, upload your creative work, and add your mark. Your artifact is then permanently recorded with your authorship information attached.

Yes, Monolith is free to use for individual creators. We believe every creator should have access to tools that protect their work.

Monolith currently supports common image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, and TIFF. We're actively working on expanding support to additional creative formats.

You control the visibility of your work. You can choose to make your artifacts public for discovery or keep them private. Your mark and authorship data are always secure.

Yes. A mark is about authorship, not ownership. You created the work, and Monolith helps you prove that. Credit and ownership are separate things — you deserve credit regardless of who owns the final product.

Absolutely. You can upload and mark any work you've created, regardless of when it was made. There's no time limit on claiming credit for your creations.

Monolith doesn't prevent copying — nothing truly can on the internet. What it does is create an undeniable record of your authorship. If your work is misused, your mark provides clear, verifiable proof that you are the creator.
